I love the Galaxy Tab. The 7" form aspect is best for getting on the go as I can still sort on the tab devoid of having an external keyboard. Bigger tablets grow to be much less transportable by forcing you to use an external keyboard for any severe typing. The model I received is a GT-P1000N. I'm not positive what country it is originally from but I will mention that there are some quirks for US users:
1) You can not register it as a US user with samsung as it's not linked with a US carrier (no totally free media credit)
2) Any external keyboard will seem to use the wrong symbols ( is british and some other keys are swapped) due to the OS loaded onto the tab by default.
General, the Tab is wonderful. It permits for the openness of Android in a fantastic size for reading articles, surfing the net, operating with email, watching movies, and playing games. I use it as my telephone when traveling abroad as I can drop in a information SIM from a local carrier and use Skype for calls.

Fantastic tablet, I decide on this unlooked tablet and when I arrive at my country, Brazil, I insert my chip (vivo) and works fine, no issue to connect with our 3G. Fantastic size that fits wonderful on my hand. Wifi operate ok. Good for e-books. Slot for memory cart up to 32GB micro sd. I loved!
